What counts as one person?
One person counts when Distill begins outreach for them. They count once whether reaching them takes one message or several across multiple channels. Follow-up, replies, and meeting booking are included.
What happens if I need to reach more than 800 people?
Additional people are $1 each. Outreach above 800 for a single sender may use email-only outreach depending on available channel capacity.
What happens when someone replies?
Distill handles appropriate follow-up, responds on your behalf, qualifies interest, and books meetings. Replies and subsequent conversation do not create another charge.
Can I provide my own list?
Yes. Upload companies, people, or both. Distill can screen the list, verify current information, and create the campaign. Or tell us who you want to reach and Distill will propose an audience.
How does conference outreach work and what does it cost?
Conference outreach uses the same outreach included in your Distill plan, with a 400-person minimum. Send us the attendee or target list in whatever format you have. We’ll screen and prioritize it, fill in missing contact information, run coordinated outreach, handle replies, book meetings, and follow up afterward. We need the final list and campaign details at least 15 business days before the conference; later requests include a $400 rush fee and are handled on a best-effort basis.
Is sending infrastructure included?
Yes. When needed, Distill sets up and manages dedicated outreach domains and inboxes, including domain purchase, mailbox configuration, and warm-up. There are no separate infrastructure or data fees.
What is a Networking seat?
Networking seats let teammates work alongside the sender in Distill. They can research people and companies, explore mutual connections, adjust targeting and messaging, and help manage responses. Each person sending outreach from their own identity requires a separate sender plan.
Can I try the managed service before committing?
Yes. In addition to the free self-managed trial, we can manage outreach to 400 people for $800 as a one-time paid trial.
How does the commitment work?
Standard pricing is $1,600 per sender per month with a recurring three-month commitment, billed monthly. Customers who prefer month-to-month flexibility can pay $2,000 per sender per month.
How many meetings should I expect?
It varies. The audience, sender, offer, and value of the conversation all matter. We don’t promise a fixed meeting or response rate. We focus on creating worthwhile conversations and continuously improving who we reach and what we say. As a rule of thumb, Distill makes the most sense when a worthwhile meeting is worth at least $500 to you.
